Abominable Snow Race 2023 Donation

​The annual Abominable Snow Race was held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Lake Geneva Ziplines. Bill Wolfe and crew hosted this annual winter obstacle course for racers from all over the globe and chose (once again!) the Lake Geneva Food Pantry to be the beneficiary of their fundraising and food collection (through their racers at preregistration events and on site at the race itself). These dedicated folks gathered and donated well over 600 pounds of food and over $5,700 to the Pantry. And we were able to share some statistics on how food insecurity affects our county, how food needs are changing (and increasing), and the role of the Pantry in assisting our neighbors. What an amazing community!
