Lake Geneva Jaycees, in collaboration with Stinebrink’s Piggly Wiggly, donated, dropped off, carried in, AND helped put away enough turkeys, buns, pies, whipping cream, corn, beans, cranberries, and other side dishes, along with a monetary donation, to ensure that all of our patrons can enjoy a traditional holiday meal this season. The Lake Geneva Food Pantry is incredibly thankful to be the beneficiary of such gifts, which allows us to continue our mission of serving the Lake Geneva community.

Students and teachers from the Lake Geneva Middle School S.O.U.L. (Service and Outreach Uniting Leaders) Program dropped off the fruits of their labors. The students, along with advisor Jennifer Kinney, collected over 1,000 pounds of foodstuffs in a five-day period. Amazing! Seeing the goodwill and selflessness of our local students was truly heartwarming for our volunteers and clients. We are grateful.
Yeti from the Abominable Snow Race stopped by to help at the Lake Geneva Food Pantry and posed for some photos as well. Racers will take part in a winter themed course and raise funds for the Pantry. See Abominable Snow Race on Facebook or the Event Post for more information on how you can take part. Or you can donate directly HERE. |
